America, the Shameful
America,
the shameful,
God shed His curse on thee
-
Because you’ve filled
yourself with sin
from sea to shining sea.
-
No more grace and honor,
wealth or
harmony;
-
But,
division and decline,
terror and disease.

Cloud Over America
There's a thick, black cloud
blanketing our nation -
weighty, thick, and blinding
like a fog;
-
For, our sins have grown so dark
that they're blotting out the sun,
and we've all but turned away
from the Living God.
-
Every evil thing
men can think to do,
they do it well from
sea to shining sea,
-
And like Sodom and Gomorrah
perished under flames,
America now goes
the way of these.
-
-
"One Nation Under God",
"In God, We Trust" -
These words right now
don't seem to mean a thing.
-
-
There's a thick, black cloud
blanketing our nation,
a threat to life
for every human being.
-
-
Come, America,
let's put away our sins,
our murders and our pride,
and all our greed;
-
-
Then, by grace,
the Lord may save us,
forgiving all our sins
if we turn to Him repenting on our knees.

America, Once Beautiful
America,
once beautiful,
look what God has done:
-
-
He’s taking all
your rights away,
slowly, one by one;
-
But you,
in your complacency,
still refuse to see,
-
-
Those who lose their
trust in God
lose their liberty.

Turn Back, America
The innocent, you persecute.
The guilty, you set free.
-
-
Injustice fills your courtrooms.
God’s laws, you twist with ease.
-
-
The lie, you call the truth.
The truth, you call a lie.
-
-
The wicked, you embrace.
The righteous, you despise.
-
-
America! America,
what has become of thee?
-
-
Turn back to God, America
before you cease to be.

Freedom. What Freedom?
Freedom.
What freedom?
We don’t have it anymore.
-
-
The freedoms
that we once held dear
are slipping out the door.
-
-
America,
where’s the freedom
you love to celebrate?
-
-
Tyranny,
not freedom
is your impending fate.

Corruption
Corruption, corruption,
corruption, corruption,
that’s what we’re going
to get;
-
-
But, people don’t care
if there is corruption
as long as their needs
are met.
