The Anti-Christ - Is He For Real?

The anti-Christ (or Beast), who is spoken about in the Bible, is for real. He will be a political/religious powerhouse who will captivate the entire world by charisma, deception, and by the threat of death.  He will appear just before the second coming of Jesus Christ. He will deceive everyone who does not know the true Christ. He will deny that Jesus was God in the flesh - the Messiah - the Christ.  Read 1 John 4:1-3.

Also read 2 John 1:7 which explains that anyone who denies that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is an anti-Christ.

The anti-Christ will promote himself as being the Christ. Jesus warned about the coming of false Christs in Matthew 24: 4-5, Matthew 24:11, and Matthew 24:23-27.

Read: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, 1 John 4:4-6, 2 John 7, Revelation 13: 11-18, Revelation 17:17, and Revelation 19:19.

2 Thessalonians 2: 8-12 reads:

"Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of His mouth and destroy by the splendor of His coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness."

Will you embrace him?  Everyone who does not know the true Jesus Christ, who hates Jews and Christians, and who love dictatorships and the governmental powers of men will be deceived and will embrace him.

Jeremiah 17:5 says:

"This is what the Lord says:

'Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
    who depends on flesh for his strength
    and whose heart turns away from the Lord.'"

Here is a poem

He Shall Take His Stand

The devil’s own agent,
the devil’s right hand man,
the anti-Christ, the beast
will come and take his stand;

And, all the world will love him,
and worship him as god,
giving him great honor,
reverence and applause;

And he will set his mark
on those who worship him,
as he sits on his throne
in dark Jerusalem;

Then, Jesus shall return,
and He shall take His stand.
The Light, not the darkness
will have the upper hand;

And, all His foes will flee
amongst the rocks and dens;
But, who can hide from God?
They all shall meet their end.

In Heaven, Christ will reign
and all who worship Him
will see Him on His throne
in New Jerusalem.
