Marriage, God's Way

If all of the men on planet earth moved to the northern hemisphere, and all of the women moved to the southern hemisphere, and there was no contact whatsoever between the sexes...within 70 years, human life on earth would become extinct.

God, in all His wisdom, made males and females for a reason, and He enacted the marriage covenant between man and woman, first with Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:18-24).

Jesus spoke about marriage as being a lasting covenant between a male and female. In Matthew 19:4-6, this is what Jesus said as He quoted the Genesis 2 scripture:

"Haven’t you read,” He replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”  This statement can also be found in Mark 10: 1-9.

We can pretend that God is all right with all sorts of sexual behavior, but He is not. He ordained marriage to be between a male and a female, and to be a holy union for life.
