Delusion

When people hate the truth and love lies, especially in matters regarding God, God will allow people to go their own way and do their own thing, to their own eventual destruction.

Romans 1:21-27, says that God will give them over to do those things that will eventually hurt them.

This is what it says:

21 "For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."

As a matter of fact, 2 Thessalonians 2:11 reads:

"... God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie."

Get This: Eventually, the deluded ones will think the anti-Christ is the Christ Himself. (Read 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

Here is a poem:

He Gave Them Up

The people became profane.
They cursed God's holy name.
Even their children,
they became corrupt.

They called their evil, good.
They worshiped gold and wood,
and so the Lord,
He gave they all up;

And so the Lord,
He gave them all up.
Sadly, He gave them
all up.

They sinned and had no shame.
They hated Jesus' name,
and so the Lord,
He gave them all up.
